*Washington CNN* — President Joe Biden took a firm stand against Donald Trump at his New York City fundraiser on Thursday, where he was joined by former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. The star-studded event, however, faced interruptions from protesters advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Biden didn't hold back, stating, "We had no president on January the 6th," emphasizing Trump's unsuitability for the Oval Office.

All three presidents issued warnings about the potential threat of Trump's reelection, without directly naming him. Biden emphasized, "I think democracy is literally at stake."

The Radio City Music Hall event shattered records, raising over $25 million, marking it as the most successful single political fundraiser to date. With the presence of two former two-term Democratic presidents, Biden showcased Democratic unity amid concerns about his coalition's strength.

Despite the festive atmosphere, the shadow of Israel's conflict in Gaza loomed large, prompting protests both inside and outside the venue.

Addressing the issue, Biden highlighted that Saudi Arabia and Arab countries are "prepared to fully recognize Israel," urging for a "post-Gaza plan" and progress towards a two-state solution.

Biden's remarks underscore his growing insistence on Israel's responsibility to safeguard Gaza civilians.

"I’ve been working with the Saudis and with all the other Arab countries, including Egypt and Jordan and Qatar. They’re prepared to fully recognize Israel, fully recognize Israel for the first time," Biden emphasized.

However, the event faced interruptions from protesters advocating for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Acknowledging the concerns, Biden stated, "That’s alright. Let them go. There’s a lot of people who are very, very — there are too many innocent victims, Israeli and Palestinian."

He added, "But we can’t forget, Israel is in a position where its very existence is at stake. You have to have all those people. They weren’t killed. They were massacred."
